Disclaimer:
90% of the pics stolen fr JS's camera
terima kasih yea
u r now my unofficial photog for my blogthey said that when u are abroad and travelling
and u see a rainbow, it means Good Luck
:)))))))))))))
so far I've been seeing rainbow whenever I'm abroad
well if u noticed all my previous travel posts, there's at least one rainbow pic
:))))))))))))
Ten Minutes by Tractor is the name of this place
highly recommended by Si Fu Lawrence
this pic was taken when the place is almost closed
yeah we stayed that long for lunch...till 4pm
it overlooked the wineries
yes Ten Minutes by Tractor is a winery
the restaurant is just a "by-the-way" thingy
Lil Tremain and I Ching
yes lil kids lurve to sit by the window
big kid like Monkey also want a pic by the window
another bigger kid also wants one
pic not so nice coz I didn't change the settings :P
lazy me
we sat by the cosy fireplace
oh yea, pls make bookings and request for a table with a view
the table we had was the best
the wine bible of Ten Minutes by Tractor
they have everything!!!!
we ordered a Clos Saint Dennis by Domain Dujac AUD 351
lurve its mineral nose
beautiful pic composed by JS
the logo was embossed unto the burg glasses
they even produce their very own olive oil
we got a bottle home
it has a very apple green nose and length
next test to any good restaurant would be their bread
that produced that "sound" when tore apart
simply rustic, just the way I like it
shelled prawns with smoked trout with potato salad,
finished with cream chives dressing
they ran out of yabbies and replaced it with prawns AUD 20
this was a pan seared baby snapper fillet
accompanied by scallop, baby squid, prawns and white bean puree
with a crustacean veloute AUD 22
this was the lounge area with a REAL fire place
JS wants to have one at home
I kinda like their "tractor" branding throughout the whole restaurant
taken fr my camera......duck breast and confit leg brandade
orange caramelised turnips, rhubarb and red cabbage compote and duck sauce
AUD 37
Pan seared ocean trout
*by the way u can't buy ocean trout in msia*
on wilted spinach, with cauliflower cream and a leek + watercress sauce
AUD 36
Carnivore had his MEAT
Beef fillet, roasted vegetables with braised prunes
hazelnut and mushroom veloute in red wine sauce AUD 39
Duet of pork
*well u know damn well who ordered this*
braised cheek and roasted fillet
set on crushed swede with carrot, pickled apple coulis and pork jus.
AUD 36
Lil Tremain ate until he said..."enuff enuff enuff"
He's such an intelligent 4 year old
and he looked so like Mommy :)))))
Monkey said it's never enuff when dessert has yet to come
Assiette of desserts AUD 32
it was a tasting portion of their desserts
everyone were fighting for this!!!!!!!!!!!
later after our long lunch we had wine tasting
Wines fr their very own winery of coz.
spit basin
for u to spit out your wines
when u do wine tasting, u dun drink them
u TASTE them and SPIT it out
I was about to purchase the black wine glass
it cost AUD 99
but wat's the point of getting black glasses
silly me trying to drive the tractor :P
