the ever beautiful ICONIC, evergreen, classic pair of Tribute Sandal by YSL

I'm confused with the usage of the brand now...it used to be YSL or Yves Saint Laurent...and ever since that the designer Monsieur Laurent passed away in 2008...a major revamp was done for the brand...now it's known as Saint Laurent. I would still prefer to refer this brand as Yves Saint Laurent....one of my favourite legendary designer
*apart from Karl Lagerfeld, he was in Singapore last month and I was in Paris...else I would have flown down Singapore to see the Legend in flesh*

PR jobs aside...I think this pair of heels is so stunning

but what if all of its colors really suits u?
yeah I think there's no such thing as one single color one dimension for anyone. Though I am sure everyone has their favourite color, but why stick to one when u can have many? I love colors :)))))

Now under the stewardship of Creative Director Hedi Slimane, everything has gone minimalistic...seriously very very minimalistic, sometimes u don't even find the Iconic golden "Y" clasp on its bags anymore :"((

when I saw this color I GASPED so loud and scared the shit outta the person who happened to be next to me then.

We were busy shopping on the famous strip in Paris
jumpin from brands to brands we actually entered into YSL's Office :P


yeah when u r so intoxicated with retail therapy
u dun really know if u r goin into the boutique or apartment or office


Once at the reception, 3 beautiful french lady greeted me
all of them in chic YSL suits *what else!!!!*
lips painted with the signature YSL RED
hair tied in neat chignons
wearing YSL black patented pumps shoes


I then only realised, these 3 beautiful TALL ladies were the receptionists of YSL House
O_O.....receptionists?!?!?!!??!!?
wow.....u ladies hiring??? I make quite good coffee :D:D:D
well I didn't say that of coz


realising we were inside YSL House *wooohoooo wat an accidental privilege*
we acted stupid and asked: "This is not a boutique????" followed by eyes wide wide opened kekekekekeke


they were so helpful and gave me a YSL postcard with all the boutique addresses in Paris
and even showed me on the map 
*though we already know it at the back of our hands*


then I caught a glimpse of another good looking despatch boy pushing the clothes rack
full of YSL pret a porter into the workshop
ooooo these could be the future collection!!!!


this is also the very same building where chief designer Stefano Pilati works his magic

was an automated glass door which I used

coz the wooden one was obviously not working

for security purpose, u need to punch in passwords to get into the wooden doors

so u can't really blame me for invading this office

it's just too good looking to be an office/workshop etc

I think it's a must-do *visiting the original maison/house* if u appreciate fashion

it's like how JS visits all his fav winemakers

the very same building/apartment where it all started......

YSL Roady hobo bag will alwiz be a classic
for a very very very long time

yes I know it's a hobo but it's a truly unique hobo
with its soft nappa leather and even more unique handle
all Roady comes with the signature Gold Brass metal attached to its handle
the bag looked so simple but yet such an intricacy to produce

this color in Fuoco is so outstanding *so Bagaholic :)*
Monkey had been lusting for one since ages ago but then again the size is so European
meaning it's just too huge for my small frame.....
until.......one fine day when I stepped into my favourite Bag Boutique
and again saw the Roady in Fuoco color
Monkey drooled like a one year old

"I lurve the bag so much.....do u have other sizes?"
S.A.: "Sorry, we only have one size....."

hmmmm disappointed then I asked:
"Ok :(((((((((....do u have any new arrivals?"
S.A.: "Yes indeed we do....lemme check...."
and it took S.A. quite some time coz the new arrivals were still in carton box
upon returning she was beaming with smiles bigger than mine...coz she found something for MONKEY.....I lurve u S.A.!!!!!
well ain't easy to find a great Sales Assistant rite? She should be my Personal Shopper lar!!!!

Monkey flew to KK for an event *another last min arrangement*
came back to KL for 2 days for a very important wedding which I'll soon blog about
then back to KK for 8 days.

except JS and Andrew
Peppino's classic....the peppino man and his banjo...ops i mean his guitar!!!
and sang the most beautiful Happy Birthday acapella with the rest of his team
and also the whole restaurant :))))

told ya the boys shot up like beanstalk!!
