Alessi Pip Key ring

I saw Pip in Reims
he's so tiny and timid that the shopkeeper kept him hidden at one corner of the Alessi shop
but cute gem like this will never escape my monkey eyes

Finally....a home :))

it was messy and busy but we pulled it all together

I've lost count how many nails I've broken :P
and seriously I.M.SO.DONE.PEELING.LABELS.
should I find another label on any item at home.....GAH!!!!!!!

frankly speaking not the whole home is ready....
personal belongings were everywhere
I have trouble locating my stuffs....it's in either boxes or I've chucked into one of the many drawers 
while unpacking...
SIGH....

no....we did not forget bout you Atmos clock :)))))
it was the last item to be carried over
invented in 1928 and went into full production in 1929
this clock lives on AIR alone 
deriving energy fr atmopsheric pressure change and small temperature change too

for a new home u need fruits....
as a symbol I suppose...
fruits tray by Alessi bought to us by Saint Veeny & Dinos the Great
almost...well almost all our Alessi items came fr them or their part of the world :P
this fruits tray is unique as it's moulded by hand and each piece is different

we received our very first guest over for dinner that day.....
well we invited our neighbour over.......
will unveil our neighbour/ guests tmrw + blog bout our 1st dinner

despite the moving + dusting + unpacking + peeling labels

Monkey & JS had to rush out to buy flowers/groceries/fruits bla bla bla

it was indeed a super tiring can die day

and more flowers :P

no time...so just buy/trim/chuck em into the vase

but I found time for this :D hehehehhehe

before I can lay my fingers on it....

Monkey had to clean each key with tender loving care...kekkekeke

and had to remind the maid NOT TO TOUCH IT

warned the contractors to STAY AWAY FROM IT

and JS without any notices....automatically alwiz.....alwiz walked away from it :P

my bones and muscles are still aching today 

*gah*

and another busy week ahead

conclusion: we need to get an "everyday" set of cutleries
but JS said THIS IS the everyday set we gonna use
baby, can we buy something which we can scratch and abuse?

also in were the cute plastic spoons for my ice creams!!!!!
got it from Switzerland, forgotten its brand name :P

do u know that u r suppose to use plastic spoon when taking ur supplements/vitamin c drinks/honey?
this got to do with the stainless steel reaction with the nutrients content of ur food

anyway as I've said, we need more drawers~~~~~
coz the Laguiole knives are still in their pretty mahogany boxes

Monkey's been busy unpacking these couple of days

and realised we have enuff stuffs to open an ALESSI shop

and believe me our collection is greater than the one u can find in KLCC or The Gardens

hehehehehehehehe

we even managed to accumulate collections that are not available in ASIA

thanks to Saint Veeny who's been constantly feeding us with products fr Alessi

ok so back to the unpacking part....

I'm not gonna upload all the pics here but we have Alessi stuffs ranging fr

sigh....

but u soooo gotta respect us when we bought 2 sets of cutlery fr Italy
designed by British designer Jasper Morrison who has worked for Flos, Vitra, Cappellini, Sony just to name a few


yeah we carried it home to Malaysia all the way fr Italy

coz it's so darn cheap there...
we could have even bought that bread TOASTER!!!!
it was so pretty but then....tsk tsk can't fit into our 6 luggages then :P
*it's either Alessi or Bottega Veneta/Prada/D&G to fit into the luggage...so which would u choose????*


and to maintain he cutlery fr scratches, Monkey merchandised it neatly inside all the drawer
individually just like how I would have merchandised my timepieces :P
one by one, side by side.


I have yet to unpack out JS's precious steak knives collection fr Laguiole
gahhh that's another nightmare...
will blog his precious when I'm in the mood...


now Monkey is busy wiping/cleaning all the steak knives...
