1st shopping destination,
IFC mall, just below the IFC tower, HK's highest structure
the usual HK crowd......so packed!!
then there was a demonstration on organ harvesting
as a good guide, I must bring him to all the landmarks/places he saw on the tele,
this one the walking escalator up to SOHO
and of coz Lan Kwai Fong,
where all the gweilos picked up chicks.
the usual market that u see in chinese dramas
and more crammed small walkway market...
as usual we shopped till we dropped..
my hands so sakit...
most purchases were requested to be delivered to hotel,
I don't want to carry so much of stuffs when I jalan.
Nite view of the island
we went to Spoon by the renowned french chef Alain Ducasse

we started off with Dom Perignon 98 by the glasses, HK$710 per glass
The best vintage got to be 96, but not many left in the world.
so 98 is the next best but it's still a bit green.

Antipodes is some mineral water fr New Zealand HK$ 130,
with less mineral according to my waiter,
he has a cute name - Ardis Lau.
Not Andy Lau ya!!
starter was a pan seared foie gras with pear HK$ 195
we had a beautiful and rounded bordeux fr Beaucaillou 1989,
1st Cru so it was very good HK$ 3,000
Alain Ducasse's signature black truffle pasta HK$ 205
Splendid view!!
Wagyu HK$ 510, it was ok.
Spoon top dessert, everything was superb HK$ 225
We've been warned by Doc Chook,
that this restaurant is overrated,
but we still wanna try.

Worth trying though!!
I will come again for the great personalised service,
they hung nice spoons all over the ceiling....
