Hong Kong, Day 1 (Part 2)

When nite falls,
we went to Nicholini's at Queesnway..

Hong Kong's best Italian restaurant,
located on the 8th floor of Conrad Hotel.
I like the nite view
Laguiole knives
air dried pancetta with rock melon
our starter, pan seared foie gras with apple reduction HK$ 320
artichoke salad with fresh porcinis served with baby spinach HK$ 250
lime sorbet with lotsa lime skin served on an ice carved plate(???)
we had Brunello di Montalcino HK$ 1750, their wine list was awesome
I shared my main course with JS
squid ink tagliarini HK$ 260
and a lovely lamb HK$ 370
hazelnut tarte HK$ 100
their petit four was some creamy vanilla ice cream dipped with crispy almond chocolate served on a plate with dry ice....yummy!!!
it was freaking cold that nite!!!! below 10 degrees
