Xmas Eve dinner at Cilantro

finally~~~~ after erm......2 years
Cilantro reopens :)))))))))))))))
the famous truffles butter *on the background*
plus this new seaweed/kumbu butter was delicious
Jason sat us on the very same table
our favourite table :)))))))))))
the new interior has a very refreshing look

and it's much brighter
Hors d'Oeuvres
Matoya oyster with Tonburi was really really sweet and bursting with flavas fr the sea
the liquid was the William & humbert Dry sack Sherry
otorro with Acquitaine Caviar
Angel Hair pasta with Hokkaido Ooni was my favourite :)
venison with Kabu
Pan Fried Quail with Foie Gras
lurve the crunch of "black rice"
Tarashirako with Truffles
tarashirako = fish sperms
pouring the consomme
looked like brains eh??
I scooped this bit for UCP
for main course there was a choice of Maine lobster with hokkaido scallop
or the japanese beef with Garden vegetables
we settled for the beef *by recommendation fr Jason*
didn't know this japanese beef was WAYYYY much better than Wagyu
to go with the beef JS brought this lovely Chambolle Musigny :)))
rhubarb souffle with Ricotta ice cream
rhubarb is alwiz good to end a great dinner
