ohhhh soft......wobbly.....delicate....creme caramel. It may not be the best looking one with crystallization of sugar at the bottom or do u call it top now that it's been inverted???
:))))))))))))
you'll be surprised this was served at a japanese yakitori place...somehow I alwiz forgot to blog about it. Since this dessert deserves a standing ovation, it deserved its own posting
I do not know the origin of creme caramel, it seems that the whole world is eating it :))) Monkey isn't really into sweet stuffs but sometimes she does crave for it every now and then. I'm tiny and spicy just like the bird eye chili, so savoury and spicy food is a must on a daily basis. Life without chili is meaningless.......
The other yummiest creme caramel that Monkey had was from Saint Veeny....oh that reminds me, her recipe is stashed somewhere in my computer. WOoohoooooo~~~~~ now I have another new recipe to attempt to for my 2013 Resolutions Project :))))))
The above creme caramel is really tiny and so so tasty with the burnt sugar. One cute creme caramel for RM 4, the price may be steep but it's yummy especially after indulging sticks after sticks of yakitori. Apparently japanese consume a lot of creme caramel but they call it Custard Pudding. So please order using the correct name here at this japanese restaurant - custard pudding and not creme caramel

Bubble gum anyone?
I was yawning my mouth wide and round during our weekly french lesson
then I shuffled through my Balenciaga bag for mints
shart!!! ran out of stock...
then I shuffled through my Balenciaga bag for mints
shart!!! ran out of stock...
sensing my needs, my classmate Peakie D whipped out an aluminium container with the ever familiar sounds of sweets knocking the wall of its container
ting-ting-ting-ting
it was so loud, it raised the eyebrow of our french teacher
then I saw it's a Foie Gras bubble gum
errrr am I gonna do this?
my facial reaction was as usual --> over-reacted with a big O on my lips
our french teacher walked over to check out my goodies
Teacher: "Oh la la la....bonbon!!!"
*bonbon = sweets in french*
he saw it's a foie gras bon bon, he went shrieking like a gal
then it's our turn shrieking in laughter
it's the first time, that I see a French native who doesn't take foie gras
wuahahahahahha
wanna know the tasting notes?
it tasted exactly like one
weird but I'm glad I tried it
Peakie D got this from New York City, so if u are lookin for it in Malaysia, I'm afraid u won't be able to find it....
it has got really great length and the taste lasted so long
our french teacher kept complaining that our breathe stinked after that
hahahahhahaha
est-ce que vous voudrais le bonbon?

till Prince C had a peek and thought it was the real thing
and almost hold the "bottle" with his hands T_T
lucky he didn't coz I will chop him off for damaging the cake
guess he had too much to drink.

he was as happy as a lil boy
it's only a cake...not the real bottle
