Hong Kong, Day 1 (Part 1)

The moment I woke up,
I started playing tourist guide...
cept I don't have a flag....
and I have a single obedient sweet adventurous tourist with no complaints.
You cannot miss the star ferry ride...
JS loved it so much that we must cross the harbour everyday with it!!

It costs HK$ 2.20 per trip.
just divide it with 2 to get the rate at our currency - RM 1.10
the morning sea breeze woke monkey up,
actually it was noon when we crossed the harbour to the HK island,

When u are in HK,
do stay in Tsim Tsa Tsui,
as there's more to see,
more to eat,
more to buy.
whereby in the island itself,
it's a concrete jungle.
finance centres, exchange squares, yada yada yada...
if the terrorist bomb this area,
the whole stock market for the asia region will collapse...
die dot com!!!
HSBC Building,
not a tall one but with interesting architecture,
it is said that this whole building was built in a way,
where it can be dismantle piece by piece...hmmm
even the escalator was built facing the side,
it's all feng shui folks!!
the flooring of the lobby area is bumpy and wavy...to signify some flows..
money come money come!!!

This building has the best feng shui in this area,
as for residence area,
got to be Repulse Bay.
when u are at HSBC building,
it's a must to say hi to the two lions!!!!
for it brings wealth and luck!!!

"Hi there money lion..
gimme more money ho ho ho!!!"

"Your hair looked like his hair....ho ho ho!!!"

GRRRRRRR......*it was windy okay??*
also once u are on the island,
another must go.... is The Peak
via the tramp wat else???
There are restaurants up at The Peak with stunning views....
Monkey all smiles whenever there's champagnes - Moet & Chandon
I still prefer Krug
Har kou - steamed shrimp dim sum....
I lost the receipt hence no price...the whole meal cost HK$ 661
Whenever there's har kou, there must be siew mai,
fresh succulent crunchy sweet juicy prawns...
the famous siew pau - bbq sweet pork buns.
prawns wrapped in steamed flat noodles and fried lobster wraps
mango pudding with bird nest,
hongkies love bird nest.....so do I
almond mochi with black sesame
let him sit near the window, I'm afraid of heights.
I looked like a lil gal here....in my new baby dress
fr The Peak, u basically can see a lot...
the weather was a lovely 13 degrees.
then we took a stroll along the walkway around the hill
A lot to do at work,
I've been trying to blog since early in the morning and now it's lunch....
will continue part 2 tmrw.
