Meat Shop in Rome

We walked past this butcher and couldn't resist and stopped to marvel at its ...

ermmm....let's call it merchandising ok?
all these pics were taken on its window display

while inside was just a row of seats against the wall for customers while waiting for their meat prepared,

and the other side of the wall was a long counter with butchers busy at work

the whole shop was just decked in white clean tiles...

that's all

simple

clean

and the amazing cut of meat they have

from beef to lamb to chicken, game and pork

in any imagine-able size, colors and shape

they even have sausages, meat balls, burger patties...

the green was was with basil leaves

such interesting kaleidoscope of meat :))))))))

just makes me wanna spend $$$$$$

now who needs Nigella in Rome??? when u can just get all these beautiful stuffs prepared by butcher :P

bring back home and whack into the oven only mar :P
