AquaLuna Cruise, Hong Kong

Aqualuna is a privately own chinese junk
built in 1950 in Macao as a fishing boat
its life as a fishing boat changed when its new owner made it into a tourist attraction
Monkey: "our transport is HERE!!!" *screams ecstatically*
JS obliged & hopped in.....
yesssss it was all my idea to do this touristy stuff :P
Aqualuna offers Day Cruises & Harbour Cruises
each ride can only accommodate 30 passengers...
so reservation is compulsory
it's free seating.....
each ticket comes with a free drink of your choice
*beer, red/white wines, juices*
the above was apple juice :P
we took the Harbour Cruise of 45 minutes around the Hong Kong Harbour *wat else*
and specifically booked the peak hour of 7.30pm
just to view the famous Hong Kong Laser Show aka Symphony of Lights at 8.00pm

Symphony of Lights was developed at a freaking HKD 44 million
involving 44 high rise buildings
and charted into the Guinness World of Records as the World's Largest Permanent Lights & Sound Show
so Mr. JS now that I've presented to u all the facts,
are u impressed n eppy that I brought u here?
AquaLuna picked her passenger from 2 piers
Central Pier or
Tsim Tsa Tsui Pier
so pls state your pier in order when making reservation
and we cruised our way in "TongKang Pecah" as JS named it -_-"
to Central Pier & picked up more passengers
later AquaLuna sailed gracefully across the harbour in time for the lights show
at 8.00pm sharp, the lights show begun its dance of trance :P
the above was Hong Kong Island side near to Central and WanChai
and when we looked on our left....it's the Tsim Tsa Tsui side
with HK Cultural building decked with multi colors lights
the lights danced to the music
most pics taken by JS
who was beaming proudly with his Nikon D 700
*he will soon change to the dark side - Canon, thanks to Photog Bonnie -_-*

  1. this blog basically represents the two things we love so much....thats travelling and taking pictures be it food or landscape or buildings.....so i guess getting an equipment that you like does give some assurance of nice pictures and make perfect sense.....and also somehow one can relate better to a certain brand viz a viz another brand:)

p/s...not trying to justify to the nikonians.....but guys....we do grow in and out of photographic eqpt and i guess i have moved on.....to the dark side!!
