many ppl asked isn't 3 weeks a bit too long in Italy?
errr actually not really coz we took our time to explore every single nook of the place
and unusually took different routes home to our hotel everyday
and discovered many many beautiful things along the way....
could be a yummy bakery or a family run restaurant
another beautiful and breathtaking church
or just explore their local markets early morning
oh even Vatican City Museum we took 2x the walk to make sure we didn't miss anything
:P the museum was about 4km walk x 2 for us
*kiasu!!!*
sometimes we just stopped by and be mesmerised by street performers
from classical, to italian to modern rock punk
all sorts of performers
and we saw many many "artist" posed as the Mummy of Egypt
boring!!! so easy....
one posed as silver colored drunkard.....and lay by the wall everyday...easy peasy
"I know wat I'm gonna do..can I just pretend to be a corpse and lay down there and I get money at the same time?"
JS -_-" "No....u r soooo not gonna do that. No one will give u money for your null efforts."
one of the most fav past time was quenching our thirst with coffee
yes coffee :P
Euro 1 only for a cuppa of espresso....freshly grinded and brewed on the spot
we almost substituted water with coffee throughout the trip
Oh yummo!!!! my eppy face :))))))))))))))))
aside fr coffee all these tempted me at the counter....
all sorts of panini and bread and quiche!!!!!!
and foccacia!!!! but JS would restrain monkey coz....
"wei wei wei later we got a good restaurant reservation and dun spoil your appetite."
"but....but...I can still eat!!!!!"
JS: "-_- No!! kenot!!!"
Monkey: :"( but I'm hungry~~~~~~ I'm famished here~~~~~
errrr yes u all guessed it...as usual in the end JS gave up and let Monkey eat...
and that was like meal number 415th of the day....and 30 minutes later
we stopped by a gelateria and had 3 scoops of gelato.....*all by herself*
so to summarised our trip...
it's makan - sightseeing - makan- makan-makan-sightseeing-makan-makan-makan
will post more pics of beautiful fountains and churches...
just that there's too many pics to choose from
sighhhhhhh BUT FOOD pics are so much easier to choose
kekekekkekeekekekekeke
don't u think so? :))))))))))))))))
i must say we also walk quite a bit in Italy. I don't think we walk anything less than 6km everyday...and that explains why i actually felt like i lost a little bit of weight on returning to KUL and someone also did not put on any weight despite all the porchetta and gelatos!!
ReplyDeleteJS: Thank u for walking the Earth with me :))))))) I enjoyed it heaps. Muakssssss
