Sempena Ramadhan

I've joined the above frenzy and made some Moroccan dish during the weekend.
Moroccan Lamb Shank Tagine.
sweet japanese potato, russet potato, roma tomatoes
garlic, spanish white onions, lamb shanks, kaffir lime leaves
cinnamon with cardomon pods, cumin and chili powder, grated ginger
sautee everything with palm sugar except the potatoes and lamb
pan-seared the shanks and place it on a casserole dish with the potatoes
pour in the sauce over the lamb and potatoes, cover with foil and jam the bugger into the oven for 2 1/2 hours at 160 degrees celcius.

so while waiting, do watever u want...
for me....
I slothed around at home munching chips, watching endless MTVs, browsing the internet, downloading mp3s and chatting online.
One more month of the above activities, I'll be a fat bastard!!
after 2 1/2 hours, the lamb should be soft and tender and separates fr its bone...the potatoes is fluffy too when poked with a fork. Sprinkle the top with cilantros.
Jom berbuka....eat with cous cous

Super rich until can die dot com.
I skipped breakfast and lunch the next day.

2 lamb shanks for 2 person is just too much.
I think 3 person sharing 2 pieces is more ideal.

Showed the pics to Haslinda and she was filled with excitement...
almost have to batal puasa.
So we'll be making it for them after Raya, probably next month together with some other Moroccan dishes.

This isn't right.
We cooking for them during Raya????
